You have the right to statutory appeal if you have applied to this school, but are refused a place and should put any appeal in writing to the Headteacher c/o the Clerk to the Governors at the school. 


Year 7 (11+ ) Appeals (September 2022 entry)

Following National Offer Day on 1st March 2022, if you wish to appeal against non-admission, you should notify the Headteacher in writing as soon as possible and by Wednesday 16th March 2022 at the latest (email:  Please provide your email and home address. (Please note, there is no need at this notification stage to outline the reason for your appeal.)

Information about the appeals process and the appeal form will be sent out on Thursday 17th March 2022 to all those who have indicated, in writing, their intention to appeal.

The deadline for appellants to lodge their written appeal (using the appeal form sent to them) is Wednesday 30th March 2022.  Appeals will be held on 3rd, 4th and 5th May 2022 (these are provisional dates).

Please note, if your appeal documentation is received after 30th March 2022, your appeal may not be heard before the end of the Summer term.


In-year Admission Appeals timetable (adjusted for Covid)

The deadline for lodging written appeals will be at least 28 calendar days from the date of notification that an application was unsuccessful.  Appellants will be given at least 14 calendar days' notice of the date of their appeal hearing. In-year appeals must be heard within 30 calendar days of the deadline for lodging appeals.
