Hello, this school is really great. Southend High is really an outstanding school as it has brilliant food and great teachers. If you enjoy sport then this is the school for you. Even if you are not a sports fan, no problem. There is a library for reading and homework and a lunch area as well. In the summer you can also go on the field and in the winter there is a concrete playground for playing football and rugby.

Where can I start? Everything is great. The sport is fantastic, so is the science and D.T. because you do practical work. It's really fun and all the subjects are definitely not boring. I hope to see some students from Our Lady of Lourdes .

Southend is great. The sports are amazing. The music is unbelievable. You can book out practice rooms to make music with your mates. All the teachers are really cool. Some are stricter than others but all are fair. They care for your well being.

Southend High is a brilliant secondary school. I was very scared when I came here but it only lasted a couple of days because everyone is so nice. This school is an all rounder from grades to sport; you can achieve it all.

I really love SHSB. I love the sport and there is loads of stuff that is hard not to like. This school is brilliant and is so unavoidable that you would need to wrap yourself in barbed wire and zap yourself to stop you coming. Watch out, you're in for a ride!

My time has been FANTASTIC here. I don't think there's any better school. Please take no notice about Westcliff v Southend, there's only one winner (SOUTHEND!) You see boys groomed smartly, boys speaking politely, and all I can say is what you see is what you get.

The sport here is amazing. There are practices nearly every morning, every lunchtime and every day after school. It was a huge place when I arrived here but the anxiety only lasted a few days. It is a great school and I advise you to come here.
